Facebook adds support for Tor, now enjoy secure social networking

Facebook just added support to Tor, the free anonymizing software to access the site without any errors.

Tor was launched in 2002 and is an open source project that provides anonymity to users on the internet. Sensitive data like your IP address and physical location, their service providers, device's make model etc. won't be shared with the server.

While Tor users could previously access Facebook before, but it would usually be filled with error in text fonts, images or for some the site wouldn't even open, because Facebook's security features treated Tor as a 'botnet' — a collection of computers designed to attack sites.

Now Tor users can visit this link below
https://facebookcorewwwi.onion/
to get a secure connection to Facebook's servers with end-to-end encryption. Now as Facebook seems more reliable, more users around the globe can communicate each other with full privacy and security.

Invites would be needed to buy the One in India, OnePlus confirms.

OnePlus announced their "Pre-order" system last week and everyone thought the invite system would be dead! But they are back again, for the 'new market' India!

An announcement made yesterday in the OnePlus forums clearly states that invites will initially be in effect in India. It would be an “India specific invite” system and invites would easy to get. The announcement also suggested that there will be some kind of retail partnership involved too,“We’ll also be working with a local partner for an even easier way to get your hands on the One”(maybe Flipkart? which served as a great successful platform for the Xiaomi phone sales).

This being said, the Invites will also be available through the OnePlus forums and social media channels too.
The OnePlus One is set to launch this December.
And the "Pre-Order" system starts tomorrow for rest of the markets.

Nokia HERE Maps Beta officially launched for all Androids [APK]

Last month, Nokia HERE maps for Android leaked online with one day expiration set. Many people downloaded it and also gave a good response.

So then about 2 weeks ago, Nokia’s HERE maps made its debut on Android, but only for Samsung devices through the Samsung Apps Store. Wasn't a smart move tho, but ya, the app is available for every android device now, good!

Well the app is not into the Play Store (for now) but Nokia has made available a Beta version of HERE maps on their site. You 'might' experience a bug or two as it's still in beta. Nokia has promised a fix as soon as possible.

Makers of The Blackphone will soon launch a Tablet

Geeksphone and Silent Circle showed us The Blackphone this year. It was all on th news bragging about its heavy security based PrivatOS.
They are back again with a new device and its a high-end tablet this time running the same secure PrivatOS.

Jon Callas, chief technology officer of Silent Circle, confirmed the tablet’s existence and explained it will “have the features people who use it every day will demand from it.”
With so much security, the app are to be kept limited, but at some point applications are going to be a necessity. The Blackphone does not have Google Play and the only way to get apps are through the Amazon Appstore, but that to particularly limited.

The tablet seems to have a good impact on business guys that need good big screen for their works, this gives much more matter visible on the screen, Plus we have the security factor.

Well the price of this device is not yet disclosed but analysts says the tablet would be available for limited distribution and will have a huge price tag.

What do you think about their new attempt?

A Guy loaded Windows 95 on his Samsung Gear Live Smartwatch!

This brilliant guy loaded up a full version of Windows 95 on his Samsung Gear Live. No doubt it's super cool.

So.., the OS is kinda operational but runs real slow and RAM gets exhausted as soon as we try opening up an application. This isn't a full time solution, also developing further isn't a smart step, but just to demonstrate such possibility is enough.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Windows running on Android devices, although this is definitely the smallest device to do so (and that counts)

Back in 2010, someone ported this popular operating system to a general Android device using 2 different emulators.
